How do I contact The Science Picture Company?
You can contact The Science Picture Company by phone, email or post using the contact details found by clicking the contact button at the top of this page.

What is your Return Policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us in writing within 48 hours for a refund. Once you agree in writing not to use the image/animation we will credit your account with the purchase price.

How do I receive my image/animation?
Once a purchase is made you will be notified by an automated email with instructions on how to download your items. You will be instructed to login to your account and visit the newly added downloads section. Your purchase will be available here for 90 days after the purchase date. If after 90 days you wish to download the item again then you must contact us via email at account-help@sciencepicturecompany.com. Download time can vary depending on connection speed and file size.

What if my download doesn't work?
If you experience any difficulty downloading your purchase email account-help@sciencepicturecompany.com and we will send you a fresh link to your download.

Does The Science Picture Company provide comp images?
Yes we do but only to established design agencies, publishing houses etc. A comp image is a non-watermarked version of an image used for pitching at the design stage. Established media companies can request a comp image by emailing comp-request@sciencepicturecompany.com

How do The Science Picture Company license images and animations?
We license our images under the Rights-managed License model and our animations under the Royalty-free License model. Both these licence agreements establish the specific terms of use for a given image/animation purchase. When making an image purchase you must answer a series of questions to determine the terms of usage for the image. You will then be required to read and agree to the appropriate licence agreement before the transaction can be completed.

What is a lightbox?
A lightbox is an online facility that allows you to quickly save images/animations that you like as you browse the site that can be reviewed at a later stage. Images can be added or removed from the lightbox by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail. You can also add items to the basket from within the lightbox. (Please note that you must be a logged in registered user to use this facility)

How large can I print my image?
Large print resolution images are available at 5100x3300pixels (17x11inches). If you intend your print resolution to exceed 125% of the original image size, we recommend you consult with your printer on how best to achieve the desired print output.

I can't seem to find exactly what I want - can I commission an image/animation?
Absolutely - Our artists are standing by to create bespoke images/animations to your specifications. You can also select an existing image or animation and have it modified to match your requirements. Contact us today to find out more!

Are the images and animations scientifically/medically accurate?
Although we strive for accuracy in all our images and animations they are created for creative uses only and not meant for diagnosis of any medical condition. We do not provide medical advice. If you have medical questions, you should seek the advice of a healthcare provider.

Do you sell or license your 3d models?
No we do not sell or license our 3d models but you can commission an image or animation based on any model. Contact us today to find out more!
